Karen has been a graphic designer for the past 10 years catering to diverse markets and their various needs. Working with marketing directors to family owned shops she has produced magazines, brochures, ads, to logo’s promotioning events, to trade shows.

Karen also had an adverting agency, Elkins Creative Services, for 23 years in Los Angeles specializing in fashion and consumer electronics industries working in the print medium working with icon brands like JBL, Harmon Karon and Infinity Speakers. As the owner her role was as account executive, program coordinator, and stylist.

A driving passion for Karen is to explore the mysteries of our universe. She is the publisher, researcher and graphic designer of her e-magazine Science to Sage . Each of her 64 issues are unique by their topic featuring leading edge scientist, philosophers, inspired artists, and innovative thinkers the world-over. She has co-created editions for Namaste Publishing, HayHouse and Shaloha Productions to promote their event.

For 2 years Karen hosted a radio show on the Awakening Zone where her magazine came alive. She still conducts interviews today and has done so at many conference. Attached are the archive of shows — listen to luminaries like Dr. Emoto, Dr. Gerald Pollack, Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Wal Thornhill, John Stuart Reid, Freddy Silva and many more.

Co-hosting events in Vancouver, BC, for best-selling authors in the arena of science and consciousness, Karen showcased Gregg Braden, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Lynne McTaggart, Micheal Bernard Beckwith and more.  This was the reason for creating Science to Sage magazine as it was a tool to introduce speakers to our network.

Karen is an award winning author, receiving the 2018 IPPY silver award in the area of science for her book Insideout: Revealing the Mysteries of Creation and the Wisdom to Live Consciously Connected. It is a tapestry of over 60 scientists, Karen’s “downloads” along with 3000 color images unifying science and spiritual traditions the world-over.
